Flavoring Price and Cost Fluctuations

Flavoring Price and Cost Fluctuations

At Flavorah we always try to price fairly and according to cost.  IF a product is in high demand we do not raise its price, we just increase its quantity.  In that way the price of FLV vapor flavorings reflect the price of some of the commodities required to make them.  However, some of the key commodities such as Vanilla, have exploded in price this past year and we have had to adjust our prices on over 100 flavors to reflect this.

In this recent batch of price changes, we waited until we were losing money on several highly concentrated food grade vape flavorings.  By cost averaging, we wanted to minimize any disruptions for our commercial manufacturers.

Flavors that make heavy use of natural vanilla extractives such as FLV Vanilla Custard have been most effected by increased costs of production. But Vanilla bases are not the only flavors effected.  When these costs come down, we will immediately pass the lower cost on to our customers.

Our business is based upon volume:  We need the largest batches possible to continue making vapor flavorings.  Unlike cheaper flavorings that are borrowed from beverage, baking, and candy, Flavorah flavorings are uniquely blended for vapor and DIY Ejuice Manufacturing.  This means that our batches are smaller and often made on order to serve our customers.  Strict criteria for raw ingredients — and quality control that precludes substitution makes it more difficult to deliver Flavorah than a multipurpose flavoring.  We hope you continue to respect our efforts to maintain quality and cost as much as we appreciate your support.
